Once upon a time in a city not so far from here, two young entrepreneurs decided that it would be a good idea to go into business together. These two individuals had been friends for all of their lives.
David and Michelle have traveled extensively and lived for many months in various hostels around the world. They felt that with the growing number of travelers visiting Halifax, there would be a need for more budget accommodation in the city.
They both knew that they had their work cut out for them. They quickly made a couple of decisions that would change the look of their living room forever. They invested in a personal computer, the very first of their business expenses. That wasn't it, however, there was an empty space on the wall behind the computer, a great place to hang something. The very next day they went to the registry of Joint stock and registered a business name. And thus, with this piece of paper, Halifax Backpacker's Hostel was conceived.
Over the next few months many important decisions were made bringing us to today awaiting your arrival.
