Ecuador
Ecuador is the smallest Andean country in South America (the entire country is about the size of Washington state). The country is home to some of the world's most extraordinary national parks. It boasts remarkable volcanic landscapes, tropical beaches on the coastal lowlands, rain forest and cold Andean highlands. To say nothing of the living wonders of the Galapagos Islands, wonderful monuments of colonial architecture and rich culture. The famous, so called “Panama hats” are weaved in Ecuador.
