At the SPRACHENKOLLEG German is taught to foreign applicants to the university The first levels are a preparation for the entrance examination to the Studienkolleg, the middle levels prepare the student for the language examination at the universities (DSH). That is why we give preference to applicants who are entitled to attend a university.
At the end of each course there is a final test: The final exam of Mittelstufe 2 (DSH) is held in cooperation with the section "German as a foreign language" of the Language Teaching Centre of the University of Freiburg and is recognized by all german universities.
Apart from the teaching programs the Sprachenkolleg offers its students social and cultural events, many of which are open to the public: videos, group of regulars, international music, lecture evenings exhibitions, concerts, dances, excursions.
