About IKI
Internationales Kulturinstitut (IKI has specialised in teaching German as a foreign language since 1981.
We offer German courses for adults aged 16 or over all year round. Every month we have between 200 and 300 students from all over the globe learning German with us.
We have two institutes, both conveniently located in Vienna's city centre and with a marvellous view of the Vienna State Opera and Karlsplatz.
Our teaching staff are highly qualified, extensively experienced and committed to helping you make progress.
IKI is an Österreichisches Sprachdiplom (ÖSD) examination centre and a partner institute of the University of Washington.
Tuition
We teach general standard German on all levels.
Our teachers are native speakers of German, possess a university degree and are specialists in teaching German as a foreign language.
All language skills are developed: listening, speaking, reading and writing.
We use modern course books and teaching aids - all included in the price.
Emphasis is placed on communication.
Vocabulary and grammar are systematically practised.
