DIE NEUE SCHULE, situated in the centre of Berlin, is located in a quiet residential area near two underground stations and on several bus routes. A comfortable 15-minute walk takes you to the city centre(west), the Kurfürstendamm and its sidestreets, where numerous cafes, galeries and flamboyant boutiques are to be found. The atmosphere in the school is international, friendly, open and very personal.
There is an evaluation test at the beginning of every course. At the end of the course each participant receives a certificate. A recognized basic or intermediate level examination may also be taken, in which case the grade achieved is included in the final certificate. The method of teaching is communicative and based on the simple premise that language comes from speaking. Role-play and intensive conversation training are therfore an integral part of every course. All staff have university degrees as well as extensive experience in individual and group teaching. Apart from well-equipped and bright classrooms, facilities such as video, teaching cassettes and overhead are available.
