Aberystwyth is a warm and friendly town on the West coast of Wales, well known for its safe living environment. It is the cultural centre of the region, and home to the National Library of Wales, and Aberystwyth Arts Centre. The University was opened in 1872, and maintains its long tradition of high quality teaching and research in a modern environment. The main campus overlooks the town and the sea, and has all student facilities, including Sports Centre, and Arts Centre.
