The Ecole Suisse Internationale is located in the heart of Paris, between the great shopping boulevards and the Sacré-Coeur. This lively area will give the opportunity the students to experience French immersion. The school edifice, totally renovated in 2001, is situated 2 minutes away from the subway. Students have access to a computer centre (with free use of Internet), a library and a break room. 6 classrooms are reserved for courses and we guarantee a maximum of 10 persons per class.
 Our French programs are based on the Common European Framework of References for Languages while our teaching methods are centred on the student’s needs and goals. That is why the first day of class consists on a French test and interview in order to determinate the right program (rhythm and level) that will suit each student. The school offers 3 different levels for each program: waystage, threshold and vantage. In class, we use different materials (handouts, authentic documents, role play, games …), mainly produced by the teachers themselves. Thus, each person can choose the best formula compare to his/her objectives, level and budget: morning classes, intensive French course, “a la carte” courses, private lessons, summer teacher training program …
The student will have the opportunity to work on the French writing, speaking, hearing and reading. Exam preparation is also offer for the Delf and Dalf, the Chamber of Commerce exams, the TCF … Our institute obtained a 95% success rate for exams in the year 2005. Therefore, we can help the student in general French as well as professional French (business, tourism, secretarial French ...) which became the specialty of the Ecole Suisse Internationale.
 To complete the work done in French class, cultural activities are organized and guided by our teachers, all native-speakers and experienced. It does not consist on great tourist attractions that students can discover by themselves, but a visit of historic quarter (le marais, le quartier latin …), famous monuments (la sainte chapelle, le palais de justice …), theatre evenings, wine and cheese testing sessions, exhibitions …
The Ecole Suisse Internationale also helps the student to find an accommodation within Paris according to taste and budget. The choice is to be made among host families (half-board), a room with a family with access to the kitchen, one room apartment and hotel.
 Our establishment is a non-profit making organization specialized in teaching French as a foreign language. It is also recognized by the Paris Education Authority and the Swiss government and is member of the Association of schools of French as a foreign language, Fle.fr. Our institute is open year round to every person over 16 who want to improve their knowledge in French and its culture.
For more than hundred years, our institute has been teaching French to numerous students while respecting a small capacity that help us to develop a nice and friendly atmosphere.
