You will find this individual treatment also in the classroom. The learning strategy is based on communication and interaction. The focus is on ways of making language acquisition an enjoyable exercise. The course units are designed specifically to meet the students' needs. Students are divided into small groups following a placement test on the opening day.
Creative exercises will improve the four basic skills of reading, writing, speaking and comprehension. Furthermore, the students will be introduced to grammatical structures, and by reading exercises and oral practice the students will extend their respective vocabulary. So everyone will achieve his personal goal.
For students with previous knowledge of German there is an evaluation test at the beginning of every course. At the end of the course each student receives a leaving certificate.
Our experienced, highly qualified tutors are all native speakers who have specialised in teaching the German language. As such we are able to guarantee a single-language classroom environment, one in which the most modern teaching methods are employed.
We provide our students with private rooms in host families, shared flats or student residences. All of the rooms that are offered by the Language Centre have been selected carefully, and underwent an inspection by our staff. The variety of rooms reflects the different types of living in Germany. Wherever you stay, you will have a clean, comfortable room of your own, plus shared use of bathrooms and communal rooms.
