Maryville, United States

Maryville is a county seat of Blount County, Tennessee. The city is located in the Southeastern United States, 20 miles south of Knoxville, in the Foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. The eastern flank of the Chilhowee Mountain - known locally as "The Three Sisters"— is visible from almost anywhere in the city, and dominates the southern horizon
The population of Maryville is more than 25,000. The City was established in 1795, in the place of old fort built to protect settlers from Indian attack. Unlike many other towns throughout the country that have been lost, dozens of historic buildings in downtown Maryville remain and have enjoyed continuous use, or have been rehabilitated more recently. Currently, Maryville's downtown offers the community and visitors entertainment, office, restaurant, retail, recreation, government, education and religious institutions, medical, and housing opportunities.
