Our establishment is a non-profit making organization specialized in teaching French as a foreign language. It is also recognized by the Paris Education Authority and the Swiss government and is member of the Association of schools of French as a foreign language, Fle.fr. Our institute is open year round to every person over 16 who want to improve their knowledge in French and its culture. The Ecole Suisse Internationale is located in the heart of Paris, between the great shopping boulevards and the Sacré-Coeur. This lively area will give the opportunity the students to experience French immersion. The school edifice, totally renovated in 2001, is situated 2 minutes away from the subway. Students have access to a computer centre (with free use of Internet), a library and a break room. 6 classrooms are reserved for courses and we guarantee a maximum of 10 persons per class.

    CIEP (Centre international d'études pédagogiques) is a French public establishment under the Ministry of Education, working together with numerous French and foreign public and private-sector partners. Its two areas of activity are: education (general, higher and vocational education, qualifications recognition); and languages (French language, languages and mobility, evaluation and certifications). CIEP is known in France and internationally for its skills in assessment, training and evaluation, and for its ideas in the field of international cooperation in education.

    Diplôme d'Etudes en Langue Français (DELF)

    Diplomas DELF (Diplôme d'Etudes en Langue Française) are official qualifications awarded by the French Ministry of Education to certify the competency of candidates from outside France in the French language. DELF are composed of 4 independent diplomas that correspond to 4 levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: DELF A1, DELF A2, DELF B1, DELF B2. The 4 diplomas that make up DELF are completely independent. This means that candidates can register for the examination of their choice, according to their level. At each level, 4 skills are evaluated: listening, speaking, reading and writing.

    Since 1958, the CCIP has participated intensively in the promotion of French as a tool for international business and commerce. The language diplomas by CCIP are internationally recognised certificates of spoken and written French used in the workplace. They are aligned to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

    TCF assesses a person’s level of French language for general purposes. It is intended for people who are not native French speakers and who, for professional, personal or academic reasons, wish to have their competency in French assessed and certified simply, reliably and quickly. All candidates receive a certificate of results that grades them at one of six levels (from A1 to C2) on the competency scale defined by the Council of Europe (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
